PERWAKILAN LONDON: ASEAN COFFEE MORNING & BOWLING

The Asean Coffee Morning and Bowling organized by Brunei High Commission was held on 25th March 2009 at the Airport Bowling Alley, Bath Road, Harlington, Middlesex for all the Asean ladies. There were 6 representative ladies from Perwakilan London in this bowling tournament. Yang Berbahagia Datin Munah Abdul Razak, President of Perwakilan won the 4th placing in the tournament while Puan Rosmawati Yusoff, the Sports Head of Perwakilan London won 3rd placing.

Wing Yip is massive Chinese supermarket, with free outdoor and underground parking. It has a lift to get to the shop floor, and it has absolutely everything that an Oriental Chef would need. You can also buy oriental kitchen utensils like steamers and other things that they use. They also sell books on oriental cookery and traditional Chinese ornaments. A trip to Wing Yip made it easy, as they have a huge frozen food section. They were also fresh vegetables, sweet chilli sauces, spices, rice and etc.

Hoo Hing Supermarket
Hoo Hing is an importer and wholesaler of oriental food products. Portobello Market
Portobello Road Market is one of the most famous markets in the world and is internationally recognised for its second-hand and antique sections. Statistically it features in the top ten rankings as the most visited tourist site in London. It is regularly the focus of press and media attention and mostly remembered from recently the film "Notting Hill". The market has a mix of fruit and vegetable produce, new goods and hot food stalls. Friday the second hand market is open and on Saturday the famous antiques market is held towards the Southern end of Portobello Road, near Notting Hill Gate.

Church Street Market
Church Street Market; one of Londons' oldest street markets, located in central London within a few minutes walk of Edgware Road tube station, Marylebone train station and served by a number of buses into London's West End. From Monday to Thursday the market is dedicated to fresh fruit and veg stalls. On Friday and Saturday, with over 200 stalls lining the street, you can find a wide variety of goods including, fruit and veg, fresh fish, cheese, clothes, and electrical and household goods.
